Safe Food Production Queensland (SFPQ) is committed to protecting user privacy. We understand and appreciate that visitors and users of this web site are concerned about their privacy and the confidentiality and security of any information that may be provided to us.

This site does not store personal information in cookies. If used, cookies on this site are strictly limited to providing the visitor with the ability to customise the site for return visits or to allow the visitor to carry information across different pages. As SFPQ is a statutory body established under the Food Production (Safety) Act 2000, e-mail correspondence sent to this site will be treated as a public record and will be retained as required by the Public Records Act 2002 and other relevant legislation.

However, e-mail messages may be monitored by authorised IT staff for purposes such as system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Requests to update personal information, such as a change of address, should be directed to the business unit which currently holds the personal information (an overview of the department's personal information holdings is provided in the department's privacy plan). The Privacy Contact Officer is the appropriate point of contact if you have any concerns about access to personal information.
