Outcomes from the 2009 Food Regulation Stakeholder Consultation Forum:
The 2009 Food Regulation Stakeholder Consultation Forum was hosted by the Implementation Sub Committee (ISC) and was held in Melbourne on Friday 19 June 2009. The 2009 forum focussed on the work of the ISC. The ISC strives to achieve nationally consistent implementation, compliance and enforcement of food regulation.
150 people attended the forum from a diverse range of industry, consumer, public health and government bodies. Issues that had been raised within the Queensland Stakeholder Forum run by Safe Food Production Queensland (SFPQ), in conjunction with Queensland Health and Queensland Primary Industries & Fisheries (QPI&F) held on 11th June 2009 in Brisbane were presented by Tenille Fort of Queensland Health.
