Rafferty’s Garden Happy Tummies Vegetable Risotto

4th September 2017

PZ Cussons Australia Pty Ltd has recalled Rafferty’s Garden Happy Tummies Vegetable Risotto from Coles and IGA in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, and WA, Sigma Healthcare in NSW, QLD, VIC and SA, Big W in NSW and SA, Woolworths in VIC and WA, and Awesome Warehouse in WA due to the potential presence of foreign matter (glass).

Problem: Rafferty’s Garden has been advised that the Arborio rice used in two batches of our Happy Tummies Vegetable Risotto may contain glass.
No other Rafferty’s Garden product or batch is affected by this recall.
Food Safety Hazard: Food products containing glass may cause injury if consumed.
At Rafferty’s Garden, we take food safety and the safety of our little consumers very seriously. We have been advised that there was an issue at the Arborio rice manufacturers where glass has entered the production process and was not detected.
Although we are confident of our rigorous quality screening mechanisms in place, we have initiated a recall of the affected batches as a precautionary measure.

What to do: Consumers should not eat this product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full cash refund.
